My formal education includes a Ph.D. in higher education and educational leadership, along with a certificate in teaching. I have dedicated fifteen fulfilling years as an educator, passionately supporting and motivating first-generation students. I recognize the unique challenges that disadvantaged groups encounter and have been committed to training personnel who work with them, ensuring that every student has access to the emotional reset tools necessary for success.
My journey also encompasses nine years of mindfulness education, during which I have discovered the significance of self-care and emotional well-being. This training includes Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, guided meditations, Mindful Self-Compassion, and Basic Meditation Techniques. Furthermore, I am certified in 8-form Tai Chi for Better Balance, emphasizing the importance of movement as we age. Currently, I am completing a 200-hour Yoga Certification Training, which further enhances my understanding of holistic well-being for myself and others.
